The greatest benefit I received through the LOTT Fellowship was the opportunity to expand my network. I became connected to organizations that I didn’t know existed, and I met people who still inspire me to become involved in my community. In addition, I was paired with an amazing mentor who I continue to meet with. When I was job searching after I graduated college, I reached out to a number of people that I met through the LOTT fellowship. The support I received was immeasurable.

I joined the LOTT fellowship program because I believed that I would obtain the skills and abilities to become a better leader. I was right! Through the LOTT program I as able to improve on skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and bouncing back from a loss. Additionally I learned the importance of women’s leadership and how I can change the world. The LOTT program has allowed me to find the confidence in myself to stand up and make a change. The LOTT program has allowed me to form deep friendships. One of my favorite workshops was the last one when all the fellows shared a few nice words and thought about the other fellows. It is nice to be reminded of your strengths and attributes; it is even nicer to share with someone their personal strengths.
